EDWARDS – Robert Shawn, 37, of Nanty Glo, went to Heaven on Nov. 21, 2012 due to a tragic accident at his home. Born May 30, 1975 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Betty and Marshall Edwards and maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Churilla. Survived by parents, Michael and Diane Edwards; brother, Michael (Angel) Edwards, nephew, William and niece, Savanah; brother, Matthew Edwards niece, Samantha; brother, Daniel Edwards; and sister, Angela Edwards and nephew Alec; and his loyal companions, Ashley and MJ. Robert loved the outdoors, going to camp and metal detecting. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Pittsburgh sports fan. Employee of Pepsi Bottling Group for over 10 years. Robert left this life too soon, but to live in the hearts of others is not to die. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10a.m. until time of memorial service at 11a.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Rob’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
