DORAN – Marie M. (Misenko), 87, of Havertown, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 18, 2013 at Rebekah Manor, Portage. Born May 14, 1925 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Gernat) Misenko. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Doran; brothers, Charles, Stephen and Joseph Misenko; and sisters, Anne Bresnahan and Sr. Margaret Mary Misenko. Survived by sisters, Catherine Kulish; and Terry (James) Javois; brother, Thomas Misenko; and numerous nieces and nephews. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass will be held at 10a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev.Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation in Marie’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
