DREIKORN - William Henry, 94, of Vinco, passed away April 12, 2015 at Arbutus Park Manor, Johnstown. Born April 25, 1920 in Johnstown, son of the late Ludwig and Emma (Lentz) Dreikorn. Preceded in death by brother, Edward; and sister Amelia Knudson. Survived by wife of 66 years, the former Dorothy Jeske, and children, Gretchen Dreikorn; Eric (Denice Hockyko) Dreikorn; and Mark (Karen Kist) Dreikorn. Also survived by grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Ian and Erika. Member of St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner. WW II Army Air Force veteran. Member of the former Jackson Twp. Lions Club. Member of Masonic Lodge # 538, Johnstown. Former Board of Directors-Franklin Johnstown Credit Union. Volunteer with Association of the Blind and American Red Cross. Retired Supervisor Production Scheduling at Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 38 years of service. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Paul s Lutheran Church, Pastor Kevin McNamara, officiating. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery with Military Rite by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, donations in William s memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL. 32256.
