EMERY – Jeannine (Zarenko), 81, of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord, September 12, 2018 at home. Born March 13, 1937 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary E. (Krempasky) Zarenko. Preceded in death by husband Clarence G. “Dusty” Emery; son Jeff; granddaughter Chasity; grandson Brett; brother, James “Butch” Zeranko and brother-in-law Bobby Hayes. Survived by daughters: Pamela (James) Williamson and Brenda (Mike) Janis; grandchildren: Jake, Chrissy, Ashley, Chad, Cory, Cody, Dalton, Breeanna, and Jhet as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived brothers and sister: George (Audrey) Zeranko; John (Janet) Zeranko; Viki Hayes; and Thomas (Linda) Zeranko and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeannine was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member and past president of the Altar-Rosary Society. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, parties with her friends and family time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday September 17th, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Fr. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeannine’s memory may be made to the Conemaugh Hospice.
