ROLES - Melvin J., Jr., 62, of Belsano, passed away April 7, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born March 21, 1953 in Colver, son of the late Melvin, Sr. and Charlotte (Bishop) Roles. Preceded in death by sister, Nancy Connor; and brother in law, John Williamson. Survived by wife of 41 years, the former Debbie Williamson; and children, Missy Roles; Carrie (Jim V.) Doliveira; Heather (Matt) Clark; and Corbin Roles. Grandchildren, Tawni, Jimmy and Tiffani Doliveira; and Hallie Clark. Also survived by sisters, Janice (Ken) Jenkins; and Kathy Williamson; as well as brother in law, Frank Connor; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved pets, Corby and Socks. A coal miner with 41 years of service. Melvin enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Phyllis Grambling, officiating. Interment, United Methodist Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, donations in Melvin' s memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association, for his granddaughter, Tawni.
