FOREMAN – Samuel B., 84, of Ebensburg, formerly of Nanty Glo, went to be with the family angels in Heaven on May 23, 2018. Born Nov. 15, 1933 in Coalport, son of the late Samuel and Helen (Rhoades) Foreman. Preceded in death by son, Samuel W., brother, Donald; and sisters, Gertrude Stokes and Charlotte Alwine-Wiedwald. Survived by wife of 62 years, the former Phyllis Rankin; children, Janet (Dennis) Geiser; Cynthia (Tom) Dotson; and Brenda (Dave) Lasinsky. Grandchildren, Jennifer (Seth) Mesoras, Nathan Foreman, Dainya (Justin) Williamson, Josh Foreman, David Eves, Michael Viveros, Scott (Jocelyn) Shilling, Brittany (Tom) Williamson and Eden Lasinsky. 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 on the way. Also survived by sisters, Barbara (William) Emerson and Iris (Clyde) Wells. Attended Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church. Retired crane operator from Bethlehem Steel. He and his friend Smoky played guitar and fiddle and entertained the residents and staff at the former Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Marvin Lowery, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
