LEY Eric Jonathon, 33, of Jackson Twp., passed away July 11, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 27, 1982 in Spangler, son of Edward and Laura (Mnich) Ley. He is survived by his parents, at home; daughters: Aleksa and Novalee; brother, Nathan, stationed at Cannon AFB, New Mexico; maternal grandmother Mary Mnich, Alverda; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francis & Agnes Ley; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Mnich. A member of St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, he was a graduate of Central Cambria High School Class of 2000. He had been employed in the construction field since his graduation. Eric enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, and motorcycles. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church, the Rev. Andrew Stanko, celebrant. Interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to K-LOVE 105.7 Christian Radio for their continued ministry and assistance to others.
