DARR Lonnie L, 57, of Strongstown, passed away peacefully July 10, 2015 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 6, 1957 in Colver, son of the late Harry and Hulda (Hughes) Darr. Survived by wife, the former Carol (Strenko) Darr, to whom he was married 34 years and son Jason, at home. Also survived by sisters: Shirley Gaydac; Janie Fails, and Sandy Yamber, all of Indiana, brother Scott Darr, Strongstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Lonnie had been employed at Fisher Scientific and most recently employed by Indiana Environmental Pest Control. He enoyed the great outdoors, hunting fishing and spending time with his family. At his request, services will be held at the convenience at the family. A special thank you is extended to Home Instead Hospice for all they did. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
