Obituary of Dawn L. Newcomer

NEWCOMER – Dawn L. (Graham) 57, of Vinco, passed away September 19, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 6, 1960 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert E. Graham and Delores (Gillin) Hill. Preceded in death by her father, husband David B. Newcomer, grandson Lukas, and brother-in-law Raymond Newcomer. Survived by mother and step-father Delores and Paul Hill, Vinco; daughters: Tabitha (Jeromy) Nipps, Strongstown; and Melissa (Joe) Sell, Ebensburg; and grandchildren: Logan Graham, Lance Marshall, Levi Graham, Liam Nipps, Ava Polchito, Emersen Sell, and Lydia Sell. Also survived by brothers and sister: Kurt (Avis) Graham; Robyn (Robert) Smith, Darwin (Nancy) Graham; brother-in-law Gary “Spike” (Carol) Newcomer, sister-in-law Susan Newcomer, numerous nieces and nephews and Dawn’s “beloved” cat “Onyx”. Dawn was employed at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where she worked in the medical records department. She was a member of Singer Hill Brethren Church and the Polish-American Citizens Club in Nanty Glo. She loved her family and was an avid Patriots fan. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
