Obituary of Cindy M. Rorabaugh

RORABAUGH - Cindy M., 61, of Blacklick Twp., went to be with the Lord March 1, 2018. Born Feb. 1, 1957 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Clair and Hazel (Lamer) Smith. Preceded in death by great grandson, Ayden; and nephew, Michael Worthington. Survived by husband of 43 years, Ray Rorabaugh; and daughters, Jennifer Rorabaugh, Denise (Kevin) Sanders and Angela (fiancé, Justin Stevens) Rorabaugh. Grandchildren, Cody (Fiance, Holly Stanton) Lenglet, Karlee (Zack) Wilson, Justin Ray Stevens and Alexis Stevens. Great Grandson, Tyson River Lenglet. Sister of Patti (Jan) Shirley, Nancy (Jim) Yoder, Lois (Dan) Rummell, Ken (Louise) Smith, Susan (Terry) Worthington, Ed (Cathy) Smith and Jerry (Missy) Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cindy’s world revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and daughters. Cindy spent her days caring for her daughter, Jennifer; the two were inseparable. She loved to do outdoor activities with her daughters and grandchildren, such as riding quads and swimming. Cindy also loved being a sister to her seven siblings. She never missed a family gathering and was constantly visiting, calling, and caring for each of them. She truly loved her family to the fullest, and her presence will be forever missed. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Pastor Bud Vogel, officiating. Interment, United Methodist Cemetery, Belsano.
