SILBAUGH – Mary C. “Kate” (Boback), 75, of Twin Rocks, passed away December 8, 2012. Born June 27,1937 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Davis) Boback. Preceded in death by first husband, Robert “Mike” Stephens; second husband, Richard “Mike” Silbaugh; brothers, John “Jr.”and Herb; and sister, Colleen Boback. Survived by daughters, Cheryl (Richard) Long; and Bernice (Richard) Llewellyn. Grandchildren, Megan, Kelli, Liam and Brynn; and special nephew, Scott Boback. Also survived by sisters, Shirley (Walt) Cunningham; Donna (Don) Ellis; and Diana (Dwight) Hess; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kate enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo where funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, the Rev. John Hickman, officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
