MYERS – Marlin E., 59, of Nanty Glo, passed away Nov. 1, 2018. Born Dec. 5, 1958 in Spangler. Preceded in death by his father, George. Survived by his mother, Violet; wife, Karen, of 26 years; and children, Marlin. Jr. (Krista), Francis, Tammy, Kelly and Jake. Grandchildren, Wallace, Helen, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Quinn, Brayden; and one on the way! Brother of Georgette, Cindy, Michelle, Charlotte, Marilyn, Heide, Pam, Brian; and brother in law, Chad. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Marlin was employed by PennDOT for many years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Pastor Chris Massey, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marlin’s memory may be made to Windber Hospice.
