DOLIVEIRA - George A., 59, of Twin Rocks, passed away peacefully Dec. 15, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 4, 1955 in Colver. Preceded in death by father, George Doliveira. Survived by mother, Mary Louise and step father, Nick Palovich; wife, Darlene, of 39 years; children, Brad (Stephanie); and Jamie (fiancé, Damian); beloved grandchildren, Gabe, Carter, Madyn and Daegan Digger ; brothers, John (Denise) Doliveira; and Nicky (Cathy) Palovich; sisters, Ann Sis (Roger) Shaffer-Doliveira; and Patty Dugan. Nieces and Nephews, Jonathan, Hailey Doliveira, Loran, Brittney, Nichlas, Andrew, Angelina Palovich, Taylor, Tara Doliveira Shaffer, Meghan, Shannon Dugan, Daryl Jr. (Micha) and Ashley Landrum; brothers and sisters in law, Harry Punkin (Patricia) Landrum, and Daryl (Kathy) Landrum; as well as special loved ones, Patricia, Mike, and Courtney Banko. Also survived by numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. Georgie enjoyed working hard and took pride in his never ending list of projects. His life (and mouth) always ran at full speed. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He valued his friendships and time spent with his co-workers. A long-time member of Local 1419 Carpenter Union, he lived life on his terms and was truly one-of-a-kind. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Pastor Asa Sherman, officiating. Interment, UB Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Habitat for Humanity.
