SEKERAK - Pauline M. (Ostinowsky), 86, Nanty Glo, passed away Nov. 22, 2006, at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center. Born June 22, 1920, in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Sitch) Ostinowsky-Cocho. Preceded in death by son, Robert Sr.; brothers, John and Michael; and sisters, Martha Grecek and Kate Sobonya. Survived by grandson, Robert, and wife, Heather, and great-granddaughter, Angel, all of Nanty Glo; grandson, Mark, and wife, Sarah, Belsano; sister-in-law, Mary Ostinowsky, Twin Rocks; special nephew, Eugene Ostinowsky, Nanty Glo; and numerous nieces and nephews Member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, Nanty Glo, where she was president of the Ladies Guild and the church choir for many years. Retired from Cambria Dress Manufacturing Company, with 25 years of service. Member of Local 424 ILGWU. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Friday evening. A brief memorial service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, the Rev. Msgr. Raymond Balta, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to her church.
