Obituary of Jill Diane Stevens

STEVENS - Jill Diane, 46, of Vintondale, passed away at home from natural causes on Sept. 7, 2017. Born April 7, 1971 in Johnstown. She leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Scott Stevens; children, Devan, Kaitlyn and Erik. She is the daughter of William “Bill” and Joan (Settle) Stephens; and granddaughter of Walter (deceased) and Sue Settle; and Dorothy Mahan (deceased). Also surviving are her siblings, Kathleen “Buff” (Jerry) Tabler and William, Jr. “Bill” (Angela) Stephens. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family members. Jill was an active mother and was involved in many school and recreational activities. She especially enjoyed competition cheerleading and formerly volunteered, for several years as a head coach of Blacklick Valley Elementary Competitive Cheerleading. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Private burial will be held Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery.
