Michael and I were cousins and remember many good times with him during family get togethers. Although I had not seen him since I moved away in 1966 after graduation I will always remember him for his big heart! I was blessed to have Mike as a neighbor (growing up), a brother dispatcher, a brother firefighter, and a great friend at camp. No doubt this will be tough every time the alarm goes off, and I dont see you at camp. My faith tells me we will meet again and all pain will be no more. Sleep with Christ my friend.

Mike was a good man. I met him many years ago when he was a kid washing cars for Don Wolf at Ebensburg Automobile Company. He washed my brand new 1970 340 Dart, a car he wanted to drive. Mike grew up in the Estep family's former home, our parents' first home after they were married. The community is diminished with his passing. Godspeed, my old friend. Jim

Mike, I will always cherish those long weekends staffing the firehouse and staying up all night and talking about almost everything that you could think of, then going to Denny’s in the morning for breakfast. Having the opportunity to share your joy of American Lafrance fire trucks. I will never forget your kindness, your biggest smile, listening to your words of wisdom and encouragement.
