POLIZIANI – Janice Ann, 83, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on October 8, 2021. Born October 14, 1937 in Spangler, daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Stefko) Olenchick. Survived by husband, Frank, to whom she shared 65 years of marriage, and children: Joseph F. Poliziani, Tennessee; Debra A. Kuhne, Johnstown; Darlene M. Poliziani, Italy; Kenneth A Poliziani, New York and Chris (Carla) Poliziani, of South Park, Pa. Loving grandmother to Franklin Kuhne, Shawna Poliziani, Lauren Kuhne, Leann and Erin Poliziani, Sara Hagerman, and Emily Poliziani. Also survived by her loving brother Ronald Olenchick, of Ohio. Janice’s passion in life was her family. Her love for children led to an over twenty year career at the Ebensburg Center (State School). Janice also loved the arts and her own creativity was showcased in designing wedding cakes, flower gardening, and spending time doing oil paintings which will be long cherished by her family. Janice was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. Visitation will be private, but all are invited to join the family for a Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Interment at Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org) Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
