Despite the multiple challenges she faced in later years, I was always amazed at how engaging Sharon was at holiday gatherings- so caring and present. She loved to be with family and I loved being in her earthy presence. We have all been touched by her dynamic, upbeat and strong spirit. May you RIP, Sharon, after weaving such a beautiful life tapestry filled with 2 amazing daughters and so many wonderful friends and family members.

Where can I start...so many memories and laughs....from sitting and talking on the porch to sharing a meal. Such great stories.... that mostly included Bob's antics. Tara, Shana, Aunt Candy, Will, and Terry my heart goes out to all of you and know you are all thought of so often and will always be my extended family.

What a sweetheart your Mom was! She will always be remembered as a special part of our Christmas Parade Parties! Her warm smile and friendly manor made her such a gift to those who knew her. God bless to the family.

My heart goes out to Shana and Tara, they really struck it rich with their mom. Aunt Sharon is in my earliest memories. Whenever we would visit we stayed at her and Bob’s house. When I was little she kept our favorite cereals, one my mom would not buy like lucky charms. She sent me new hardback books when we were in Panama—I still have them with the note she wrote in them. There was always food and sitting around the table talking. I was amazed at her fortitude when she was in rehab for 2 broke bones. She was determined to get out of there and would take nothing stronger than Tylenol to get her through. I admired her outgoing personality and ability to talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable. I am going to miss you. My brother Tim talked about her near his end. He was very fond of her as well. The first time I met Sharon was through my sister-in-law, Candy. Our children were young and we went to their property in Vinco to help clear the land at her mothers house. After she cooked and we all sat around and gabbed. Such a lovely woman. Always positive. Every time she came to our home for dinner she always brought a lovely gift, especially angels.
I catered her birthday one year and we all had a good time.
Sharon and her husband raised two wonderful daughters. We will all miss her. Sympathies to the family Sharon and Bob Zimmerman
