Obituary of Bernice E. Silbaugh

SILBAUGH – Bernice E., 85, of Mundys Corner, went to be with her Lord February 14, 2022. Born Dec. 30, 1936 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Whitsell) Rose. Preceded in death by husband, Walter G. Silbaugh, Sr.; brothers, Harold  Rose, Jr. and Hobert Rose; and sisters, Melda Cramer, Gazel Brown and Bonita Adams. Survived by children, Walter G. (Mary Lou) Silbaugh, Jr.; Lorelei J. (Thomas) Aubrey; Sherri E. (David) Stevenson; Malany E. (Robert) Wilson; Harold N. (Michelle) Silbaugh; and Rory A. Silbaugh.  Also survived by  13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, of whom she dearly loved. A 1954 graduate of  Blacklick Valley High School. Member of  First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo. Employed for ten years by Teddy Bear Review Magazine. Bernice loved to crochet baby clothes and afghans as gifts. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.
