Mayor Szymusiak was always so polite to me and I respected him very much. I’m saddened to think I won’t run into him somewhere in Nanty Glo or at his grandkids games. If a man is judged by what he has left behind, I think Mayor Szymusiak has done just about the best a man can do. He and his wife have raised extremely respectful boys and he was always a respected figure in our town. Though I’m going to miss seeing him around, I’m fortunate I had the opportunity to know this man. May God bless his family as they mourn the loss of a great…great man. -Bubba Fatula
