Allen taught us all how to live. Despite adversity, he always had a smile on his face. My favorite memory is of him sitting on the porch and playing out his heart and soul on the harmonica. Now he'll be singing with the angels for all eternity. Rest in peace, neighbor. Doris Maus Niebauer, on behalf of the Maus family

To Allen's family, I had lost track of Allen. I went to Pike growing up and Allen always talked to me. We both have CP. When I had to go to the Hiram G. Andrew's Center he told me stories of when he went there. I remember Allen playing the harmonica and singing in the choir at church! I remember him talking to the kids about Jesus on the CB radio at bible school and the kids were asking questions! Pike may have some old choir photos you may be able to get copies of. I pray that Allen is up there walking whole, healed, and no more pain! Peace and comfort for his family! I made a donation to UCP Johnstown Pa. I didn't know how to put it in Allen's name.
