LUBERT –  Denise L., 68, of Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 6, 2023. Born December 13, 1954. Preceded in death by father, John Lubert. Survived by mother, the former Lorraine Donaldson; brother, Don and wife, Sandra Lubert; and close friend, Richard Bashore. A school teacher with Johnstown High School, she loved her work and her students and called them “her kids.”  Denise was an avid dog lover, enjoyed life and will be sadly missed by everyone she knew. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
